Berjé Inc EUGENOL is comprised of phenol, 2,6-bis[(dimethylamino)methyl]-, 4-(C3-15-branched and linear alkyl) derivatives. It is available in liquid form and is commonly used as a fragrance ingredient and flavoring agent for a variety of applications in fragrance, pet care, oral care, confectionery, and bakery. This colorless aromatic chemical is designed to impart an incredibly warm and powerful flavor. Eugenol is often mistaken for traditional clove oils, though it retains a much more intense fragrance than its more natural counterparts. This chemical has a peppery, dry, and slightly sharp nuance that makes it incredibly potent when added to mint, nut, and fruit flavorings. The oil also maintains a phenolic, woody aroma, which makes it especially popular among incense, rose fragrances, and traditional oriental perfumery.
