- Compared to defoamers such as AFCONA-2025, AFCONA-2035, and AFCONA-2040, this product gives better defoaming properties and better compatibility, especially in polyurethane clear coat systems.

Due to the excellent combination of defoaming and compatibility, the recommended applications for AFCONA-2045 are:
- polyurethane systems for wood, plastic and car refinish
- airless spray coatings
- NC lacquer and acid-cured systems for wood and general industrial
- heat-cured coatings for general industrial
- solvent-based epoxy systems
- Incorporation
- To prevent foaming, AFCONA-2045 may be added prior to processing. If added subsequently, good dispersion must be ensured.
- Addition and Dosage
- 0.1 - 0.7% on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.2 - 0.5% based on total formulation is sufficient.

- AFCONA-2045 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When stored in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
