SYNTHALAT A 597 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin. It gives good results as the sole binder for the manufacture of primers for problem substrates such as zinc. Unlike other physically dying binders, it does not require the addition of any plasticizers. It has applications in industrial maintenance, architectural coatings, primers and lacquers, and marine coatings.

SYNTHALAT-A 597, a thermoplastic Acrylic resin, has an excellent pigment wetting and a high
pigment loading.

Solubility/ Dilutability

SYNTHALAT-A 597 can be diluted in any proportion with aromatic solvents, esters, ketones,
glycol ethers and their esters as well as with chlorinated hydrocarbons.
