DeCAL 4201 is an acrylic binder ideally suited for use in water-based flexographic inks. The product exists as an alkali-soluble carboxylated copolymer emulsion but can also be supplied in its neutralized varnish form as DeCAL 4202. Inks prepared using DeCAL 4201 possess excellent machine stability/resolubility, viscosity/pH stability, favorable viscosity/dilution curves, and excellent pigment wetting characteristics.

DeCAL 4288 is a low molecular weight carboxylated acrylic copolymer that can carry very high levels of pigment, providing maximum color development properties at these loadings. To obtain the full benefits, it's essential to use the highest possible pigment binder ratios and the highest possible pigment loading of DeCAL 4288. It's common to prepare a neutralized solution using either ammonia or monoethanolamine in formulations where slower drying or better resolubility is required.

AFCONA 2503 is a waterbased defoamer and anti-foam agent with leveling properties that is especially useful in high shear applications such as pigment concentrates. AFCONA 2503 is an organically modified polysiloxane which is designed to give good defoaming, anti-foam and leveling performance in all waterbased applications.

AFCONA 2501 is a defoamer for water-based paint. It is a silicone-based defoamer containing a small amount of silicone to give better deaeration. It is recommended for all kinds of water-based coatings ranging from decorative paints to water-based printing inks.

AFCONA 2505 is a water-based defoamer and anti-foam, especially designed for micro foams. It is an organically modified polysiloxane, providing good defoaming and anti-foaming properties in all water-based coatings. It offers excellent performance against micro foam, even in high shear applications such as long period grinding. It maintains its good defoaming and anti-foam performance under high shear conditions.

AFCONA 2027 is a moderate defoamer with minimal side effects. AFCONA 2027 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It offers a combination of good defoaming and compatibility with most resin systems. It is recommended for medium-viscosity applications applied by spray and brush.

DeCAL 4287 is a low molecular weight carboxylated acrylic copolymer that can carry very high levels of pigment and provide maximum color development properties at these loadings. It is the same polymer as DeCAL 4286 but is supplied as the monoethanolamine salt for use in formulations where slower drying or better resolubility is required.

DCL 1816 Dianisidine Orange, PO.16 is a blue-shade Dianisidine Orange pigment designed for non-exterior film, blow molding, injection molding, and wire and cable applications. It offers very good heat stability up to 240°C and has a high tint strength compared to other orange color indices. DCC 1816 is considered to be the most cost-effective lead-free alternative to molybdate orange.

DCL AG401A Luster Black, 10 - 60 m is a silver gray translucent pearlescent pigment that boasts a brilliant finish, and it is approved by the FDA under Section 178-3297. The mixture that comprises this pigment is made up of mica, titanium dioxide, and carbon black, resulting in a silver gray powder as its appearance.

DCL 5651 Phthalocyanine Blue, PB.15:1 (A4R Type) is an alpha crystal form red shade, phthalocyanine blue. 5651 is FDA-approved (Section 178.3297). It has good overall resistance properties. It finds major applications in plastics such as PVC, PP and PE, inks, paints, and coatings.

DCL 1370 Naphthol Red, PR.170 is a very bright, yellow-shaded naphthol red with very good lightfastness, opacity, flow properties, and chemical resistance. The shade of 1370 is yellower and more opaque compared to that of 1970A. It is a reliable and versatile choice for various plastic, ink and coating applications.

DCL 8086 Rutile Titanium, PW.6 (Sulfate) is a durable rutile titanium dioxide with good hiding power manufactured by the sulfate process. 8086 is surface treated alumina and silica to improve the dispersibility. It is mainly recommended for the construction industry.

DCL 2413 Diarylide Yellow, PY.13 is an AAMX medium-shade diarylide yellow offering good opacity and tinting strength compared to other diarylide pigments. It exhibits good overall resistance properties, lightfastness, weather fastness, and heat stability. This makes it a reliable and versatile choice for a wide range of inks, plastics, and coating applications.

DCL 1149 Perylene Red, PR.149 is a transparent, blue-shade red pigment with excellent heat stability and overall properties. Specifically manufactured to meet a filter value specification of less than 2.0 bar/gram, it is recommended for use in solvent-based industrial and powder coatings, solvent-based printing inks, and plastic applications such as flexible and rigid PVC, PE, PP, PS, ABS, and other engineering resins processed at high temperatures. It can also be used to color nylon and other synthetic fibers.

DCL 8817 Transparent Red Iron Oxide, PR.101 is a high performance transparent red iron oxide offering high color strength, weather resistance, and UV protection properties. 8817 is recommended for PVC plastics, automotive, aerospace, industrial, powder, and wood coatings, as well as solvent flexo inks.

DCL 032-185 Toluidine Red, PR.3 (Yellowest) is an opaque, yellow shade of toluidine red, offering very good lightfastness in masstone shades. It is the yellowest shade toluidine red by DCL. It is mainly used in water flexo inks, decorative and industrial coatings.

DCL AG308 Classical Gold, 10 - 60 m is a gold transulcent pearlescent pigment with a brilliant finish. This product is composed of a mixture of titanium, mica, and iron oxide that takes on the appearance of gold powder, and is approved by the FDA under Section 178-3297.

DCL 3327 Phthalocyanine Green, PG.7 is a medium-shaded phthalo green offering excellent rheology in some solvent systems. DCL 1319 Quinacridone Red Violet, PV.19 (E3B type) is an opaque, yellow-shaded quinacridone with excellent fastness properties. DCL 7322 Quinacridone Magenta, PR.122 has similar properties to DCC Red 7222, making it a suitable drop-in match for shade and strength to the market standard for universal coatings. DCL 2194 Benzimidazolone Yellow, PY.194 is a bright, green-shaded yellow with very good light and weather fastness, especially in deep shades. This product has relatively high opacity, good flow properties, good overall resistance properties, and good bleed characteristics. It is mainly used in plastics, high-end coatings, and inks.

DCL 1184 Naphthol Red, PR.184 is a blue-shaded, semi-transparent naphthol red with good overall fastness properties. 1184 is an alternative to Pigment Red 57:1 types where an improvement in fastness properties is needed. It is a rubine process printing shade.

DCL 5454 Phthalocyanine Blue, PB.15:4 is a transparent green-shade blue pigment that is non-crystallizing and stable to high processing temperatures in the presence of aromatic solvents. It is also non-flocculating in mineral oil/vegetable oil, and solvent-based systems. This pigment is recommended for high-grade industrial, agricultural equipment, automotive refinish and OEM, oven-drying coatings, and powder coatings, and is generally used in nitrocellulose and polyamide inks.

DCL 2110 Isoindolinone Yellow, PY.110 is a transparent, red shade yellow pigment with excellent lightfastness and good heat stability. 2110 Isoindolinone Yellow, PY.110 is slightly more transparent and redder than 2111. This product is also approved by the FDA under section 178.3297.

DCL RC-800-PG Rutile Titanium, PW.6 (Chloride) is a low oil absorption, chloride-process rutile titanium dioxide pigment, surface-treated with alumina and silica. It offers excellent tint strength and dispersibility, providing a bluish/white high dispersion product, and is approved for use under 21 CFR 178.3297 by the FDA.
