HALOX® BW-100 is a white, nonrefractive, tannin stain-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems and has been specifically designed as a tannin stain inhibitor, providing performance and compatibility in a variety of resin systems such as acrylic latexes, vinyl acrylic latexes, styrenated acrylic latexes, and solventborne alkyds.

Advantages
HALOX® BW-100 blocks tannin stains in the primer layer of a two-coat system. It contains barium and calcium cations which chelate phenolic side groups found in tannic acid.
