Mosselman Paraffin Wax 54-56 is a solid mixture of hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum characterized by relatively large crystals.

Mosselman Sunflower Oil Refined (8001-21-6) is obtained from the seeds of the plant “Helianthus annuus”. It is used for edible purposes as a cooking and salad oil and in the manufacture of margarines. In cosmetics it is used for after sun skin and hair care, for sensible skin care and to produce nourishing creams.

Mosselman Stearic Acid 1892 (67701-03-5) is the most common saturated fatty acid occuring in natural fats. The commercial stea-ric acid contains palmitic and stearic acid.

Mosselman Cocoa Butter Yellow (8002-31-1) is obtained from cocoa beans of the tropical plant “Theobroma cacao”. This fat is preeminently suitable for confection coatings. It is mainly used in cosmetics because of its total bio-conformity with skin and its content in Vitamin E. It is used for skin and hair care, aromatherapy and in treatments against eczema.

Mosselman Linseed Oil Crude (8001-26-1) is obtained from the seed of the plant “Linum usitatissium”. This oil is mainly used in the manufacture of paints, linoleum, varnishes and printing inks.

Mosselman Cod Liver Oil Type A EP 10 (8001-69-2) is purified fatty oil from the fresh livers of gadus morhua and species of gadidae.

Mosselman Stearic Acid 1898 (57-11-4) is the most common saturated fatty acid occurring in natural fats. The commercial stearic acid contains palmitic and stearic acid. Stearic acid is used in the manufacture of stearates, lubricants, soaps, cosmetics etc. Further applications are in rubber compounds, coatings, food packaging and candles.

Mosselman Soybean Oil Refined (8001-22-7) is obtained from the seeds of the legume “Soja max” Soybean oil is used as an edible oil and in the manufacture of drying oil products.

Mosselman Peanut Oil Refined (8002-03-7) is obtained from the kernels of the plant “Arachis hypogaea”. Peanut oil is mainly used for edible and pharmaceutical purposes.

Mosselman Olein N2 (67701-08-0) is the most important unsaturated fatty acid present in almost all natural fats and oils. It is used as soap base, as polishing compound, in lubricants, in flotation, as surface coating and as intermediate.

Mosselman Argan Oil Deodorized (223747-87-3) is produced from the seeds of the argan-, ardjan- or iron tree. The argan tree is indigenous exclusively to Morocco. Traditionally argan oil is produced manually and has an intensive taste and odor. Argan oil is used as anti-aging agent for skin and hair care and is a hair care stimulant, it is also used in food products. It has a high Vitamin E content.

Mosselman Palmitic Acid 98% Beads (57-10-3) is a saturated fatty acid with a chain length of 16 carbons occuring in natural fats. This type contains more than 98% of palmitic acid. Palmitic acid is used in the manufacture of palmitates, lubricants, soaps, cosmetics etc.

Mosselman Sweet Almond Oil Refined (8007-69-0) is the oil obtained from the dried kernels of the almond tree “Prunus amygdalis”. Almond oil is preeminently used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Mosselman Cottonseed Oil (8001-29-4) During antiquity, Chinese used this oil as medicine. It is obtained by cold pressure of the seeds. It has applications in pharmaceutics (see our pharma grade) and in cosmet-ics for skin care and for moisturizing treatments.
