PEXIDAN® L/T-UV is a high density PEX system consisting of a silane grafted basecompound A-1001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-003 (or A-1022 and CAT-117). When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions, the two-component system results in a material that is crosslinkable by exposure to moisture or by immersion in hot water at 90-95°C. PEXIDAN® L/T is listed by NSF International to standards 14 and 61 and to Canadian Standards Association standard B137.5. NSFI certification to ASTM F876 and ASTM F2023 testifies to its superior resistance to oxidation by hot, chlorinated water. PEXIDAN® L/T is permitted to be used in domestic continuous re-circulation systems and is listed by NSF as a NSF-pw CL5 / PEX 5006 material.

PEXIDAN® J/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pregrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (60:40), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® J/T is designed to meet SAE J1128 standards for GXL, TXL and SXL type insulation. PEXIDAN® J/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® HF X/T is a unique low smoke halogen free flame retardant 90°C wet-rated XL-insulation system curable by moisture. It consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound SX651 and a catalyst masterbatch CM540U. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95:5), the two components result in a material that is crosslinkable by exposure to 90°C hot water. PEXIDAN® HF X/T is REACH and RoHS-compliant and is UL 2885 certified to bear the Halogen Free “HF” designation. PEXIDAN® HF X/T is UL-bulletinized and wire made with this insulation system may be marked as Oil Resistant “PR I” and “PR II”, Gas & Oil Resistant “GR I” and “GR II”, “-40C” and “SUNRES” in all colors. This compound will meet a 105°C dry rating.

Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions the two-component system results in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® X/T-UV is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant. UL44 type insulation may be marked SUNRES or SR in all colors for sizes of 6 AWG and larger. UL4703 photovoltaic insulation may be marked SUNRES in all sizes and colors

LINXIDAN® LX4433 is a Maleated HDPE Coupling Agent designed specifically to chemically bind natural fibers to HDPE in Wood-Plastic Composites. Coupling fibers to the HDPE matrix, in a 50% wood-filled system, reduces moisture uptake while increasing flexural modulus by 20% and overall flexural strength by 90%.

EXTINITY® 0101-108 is a halogenated, flame retardant compound specifically designed for use in plenum tube applications. This compound has good thermal stability and can be converted easily on standard processing equipment.

PEXIDAN® V/T-2 is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-045FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T-2 is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® H/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pregrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (67/33) this mixture results in a material curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® H/T is listed with CSA for AWM and CL1251, CL1252 & CL1503, and for UL AWM styles 3173 and 3321. See below for a more complete list of suitable AWM styles. PEXIDAN® H/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® V/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silanegrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-010FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® SX546 pre-grafted base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493CD, for small cross sections, or CM497CD, in the ratio 95:5, for a 125ºC working temperature system. This system has ambient cure.

LINXIDAN® LX4520 is a polyolefin copolymerized with a siloxane functionality, designed to improve compatibility and mechanical properties of polymer compounds.

PEXIDAN® SX409NT pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. The SX409NT:CM401 system has been developed specifically for cables operating up to 36kV. The graft compound contains a non-staining stabilizer and an effective tree retarder, giving outstanding long term retention of dielectric strength. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

PEXIDAN® HF SX612ES pre-grafted base is mixed with catalyst masterbatch CM602 or CM601, in an addition rate between 5% and 10%, depending on extrusion conditions. This system has ambient cure. PEXIDAN® HF SX612ES has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1 and EN 50525-3-41, with enhanced fire resistance to comply with fire testing on smaller cross sections.

LINXIDAN® LX4436 is a maleated polyolefin Coupling Agent designed for alloying dissimilar materials to improve physical properties. Suggested loading levels are between 1 and 4 wt% depending on the specific materials being compounded, particular physical property of interest and level of improvement desired in the identified property.

PEXIDAN® SX522A pre-grafted base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. This system has ambient cure.

PEXIDAN® U/T is a low density XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-008. When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95/5), the two components result in a material curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. In order to prevent pre-scorching the grafted compound and the catalyst masterbatch must be stored separately and mixed only when used. PEXIDAN® U/T is RoHS-compliant. PEXIDAN® U/T is also suitable for medium voltage XLPE jacket applications not requiring flame retardancy.

PEXIDAN® SX523 pre-grafted black base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497 in the ratio 95:5. This system is carbon loaded, with high UV stabilization, and has been developed especially for usage on overhead power cables insulation according NFC 33-209, “Câble Torsadé”. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

PEXIDAN® HF SX623 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM540U/1 in the ratio 95:5 or CM540U in the ratio 97:3. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX623 has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-360 SHF2, BS 7655-2.6 SW4 and EN 50264 sheathing applications.

PEXIDAN® SX409 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. The SX409:CM401 compound has been developed specifically for cables operating up to 36kV. PEXIDAN® HF SX524 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 or CM424/1, in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX524 has been developed specially for particularly optical fiber ADSS (all dielectric self-supporting) communication cables to be installed on overhead power distribution networks. The material is black in color and suitable for outdoor use with excellent tracking and UV resistance.

EXTINITY® 0201-312 is a highly loaded antimony trioxide concentrate that can be used for a variety of applications including film, sheet, and extrusion coating. The content of antimony trioxide in EXTINITY® 0201-312 is 80%, by weight. Use of EXTINITY® 0201-312 eliminates the exposure hazards typically associated with handling antimony trioxide powder, since all of the antimony trioxide powder is dispersed, distributed and encapsulated in a LDPE carrier resin.

Material SX739 is a silane grafted HDPE compound curable by exposure to moist conditions. SX739 is specifically designed for high output processing by conventional thermoplastic injection molding. The graft component SX739 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM488/6 generally in the ratio 95:5. This material combines good flow, high rigidity and excellent notched impact strength. The two component system SX739:CM488/6 has high degree of crosslinking which gives it a useful strength at temperatures not usually reached by HDPE.

PEXIDAN® HF SX738 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. This system is designed specifically for the production, by extrusion, of flame retardant halogen free heat shrinkable tubing. The two component system SX738:CM401 combines ease of processing with the ability to achieve a degree of crosslinking compatible with good expansion and contraction.

PEXIDAN® V/T-2UV is a low density flame retardant XLPE system, curable by moisture and consists of a silane grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-083FR-UV. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T-2UV is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant. Insulation made with this system may be marked SUNRES or ‘SR’ in all colors and in all sizes per UL44, UL4703 and CSA C22.2 #38. This product is also CSA-listed for RW90, RWU90, RPV90 RPVU90 and CIC, ‘SR’ and -40C rated.

PEXIDAN® X/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a flame retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-005FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (80:20), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® SX720 is a silane grafted polyethylene compound, curable by exposure to moist conditions, and possessing good extrusion properties at high output rates. The graft component SX720 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM488 generally in the ratio 95:5. The highly crosslinked materials produced by this two-component system possess excellent impact strength, ESCR, creep and internal pressure resistance under ambient and elevated temperature conditions. These materials have been formulated for hot and cold water pressure pipes and are easily extrudable on conventional polyethylene extrusion lines.

CAPXIDAN® LG is a modified copolymer produced with a proprietary, patent pending formulation. It is designed to be coextruded over Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) deckboards to provide moisture, stain and wear resistance, esthetics, low gloss, durability at elevated temperatures, and unprecedented adhesion to the WPC substrate. CAPXIDAN® LG is a two-component capstock system. The CAPXIDAN® resin should be extruded together with a specific synergistic additive masterbatch in the recommended proportion of 98:2 by weight.

CAPXIDAN® HD is a Modified Copolymer produced with a proprietary, specialized formulation. It is designed to be coextruded over Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) deck boards to provide moisture, stain, wear resistance,esthetics, durability at elevated temperatures, and unprecedented adhesion to the WPC substrate. CAPXIDAN® HD is a two-component capstock system. The CAPXIDAN® resin should be extruded together with a specific synergistic additive masterbatch in the recommended proportion of 98:2 by weight.

PEXIDAN® HF SX407K pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX407K has been designed to be used in different nuclear power plant radiation resistance cables sheathing with LOCA approval. Different types of cable designs made using SX407 have complied with the following flame tests: - BS 4066 Part 1/IEC 332 Part 1; CEGB GDCD Standard 21; VDE 0472 Pt.804 Method C; VDE 0472 Pt.814; NF C 32- 070 Test 2 (Category C1); BS 4066 Part 3; IEC 332 Part 3 (Categories A, B & C).

PEXIDAN® R/T is listed with the Canadian Standards Association for use in RW-90 and RWU-90 XLPE applications and rated to -40ºC. PEXIDAN® R/T is non-flame-retardant, halogen-free and RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® HF SX650 pre-grafted base is mixed with catalyst masterbatch CM603 or CM601, in an addition rate between 3% and 5%, depending on extrusion conditions. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX650 system has been developed to meet specification requirements TUV 2Pfg1169:2007, EN 50618:2014 and IEC 62930.

PEXIDAN® HF SX559 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM540U in a ratio of 97:3 to 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX559 has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1, EN 50525-3-41 or other insulation or sheathing applications where high fire retardancy is required.
