Product Highlights

Nowadays, food is undergoing a real change: it is becoming reasoned, without however ruling out the hedonic pleasures associated with it. From now on, “better eating” by adopting the principles of modern dietetics means better living and affording yourself the means to increase not only your life expectancy but also your beauty expectancy.
Guaranteeing both the body and the skin respect for their integrity comes down to providing them with restructuring and protective ingredients, such as unsaturated fatty acids (AGI). Omega 3, 6 and 9 are the most recognized AGI today for their nutritional virtues and their properties on the health of the organism.

On the strength of this observation, the Solabia Group has developed a range of Omega Ceramide® whose technology is based on 3 objectives :

  • Stabilization of unsaturated fatty acids due to their more or less marked instability in the face of oxidation, unsaturated fatty acids must be stabilized to facilitate their formulation.
  • Formation of a biomimetic ceramide structure intended to strengthen or restore the intercorneocyte lipid cement, for better skin restructuring and protection.
  • Vectorization of unsaturated fatty acids (and/or other biological molecules) to maintain or even optimize the biological properties of the grafted active molecules.

Mechanism of Action

Omega 6, thanks to their concentration in linoleic acid, play an essential role in the development of the epidermal water barrier because of its participation in the formation of Ceramides 1, O-acylceramides. Omega 6 Ceramide® therefore has soothing properties to reduce skin inflammation resulting from environmental attacks and accelerating skin aging.
