It is not miscible with water and decomposes when exposed to water or moisture, forming methylethylketoxime. It is produced without the use of plasticizers and is based on the monomers vinyl acetate and ethylene. VINNAPAS® EN 1092 provides a unique combination of high dry and wet strength, making it an excellent choice for various applications. The dispersion has a low formaldehyde content of less than 100 ppm, ensuring compliance with strict standards. It is particularly recommended as a binder for glassfiber scrims, offering a firm handfeel and excellent alkaline resistance.
