This injection moldable grade exhibits high heat resistance, excellent chemical resistance, high melt flow, and added mold release. NORYL GTX951W resin was designed for automotive under-the-hood applications such as power distribution boxes, relay boxes, and junction boxes. This injection moldable grade has high stiffness (flexural modulus 8430MPa), excellent chemical resistance, and high heat resistance. NORYL GTX6801 resin is an excellent candidate for industrial applications. SABIC's Specialties Business ELCRIN EXL7414B polycarbonate (PC) siloxane copolymer resin is a medium flow, non-chlorinated, non-brominated flame retardant opaque grade with major component synthesized from Bio source. This resin offers excellent low temperature ductility (-40ºC), extremely thin wall flame retardant capability with UL94 V0 at 0.6mm, and in combination with excellent processability and release with opportunities for shorter cycle times compared to standard PC. ELCRIN EXL7414B resin is a product available in wide range of opaque colors and excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications, such as the battery cover of fast-charging mobile phones that need to be compliant with IEC 62368-1.

The intended use for this material is in medical devices and pharmaceutical applications. The material offers biocompatibility (ISO 10993 or USP Class VI) and Healthcare management of change applies. The material may offer Steam-, Hydrogen Peroxide-, Gamma-, EtO-, UV-C- and E-beam resistance for repeated sterilization cycles. It may offer global food compliance (FDA, CN, EC).
