Bomar™ BR-641D is a Polybutadiene (PBD) urethane acrylate, which was designed to meet rigorous electronic coating applications. This oligomer has exceptional adhesion to various metals, glass,and polycarbonate substrates. BR-641D has many desirable properties that are typical to PBD resins, combined with radiation curability. In applications requiring thermal cycling resistance, BR-641D withstands the extremes of temperature typical of such tests, without undue degradation of properties. In addition to the adhesion properties listed in the table below, BR-641D showed excellent adhesion to PMMA, ABS, PVC, Nylon-6, Polystyrene,and Polypropylene.

Bomar® BRS-14320S is a difunctional oligomer that combines a robust silicone backbone into a urethane acrylate oligomer. The resulting product provides an unusual combination of desirable properties: softness, flexibility, and temperature resistance. BRS-14320S is a candidate for consideration in formulating 100% UV soft-touch coatings and also for electronics applications

BDT-4330 is a dendritic acrylate with an average functionality of 30. The hyper-branched structure of BDT-4330 imparts the unique combination of low diluted viscosity with unmatched chemical and thermal resistance, which is ideal in applications where withstanding exposure to the harshest conditions is paramount. Great for high-temperature applications because thermogravimetric analysis indicates the oligomer doesn’t decompose until 397° C

Bomar™BR-640Dis a polybutadiene (PBD) urethane acrylate with a functionality of two. Designed to meet rigorous electronic applications, BR-640D has many desirable properties typical to PBD resins, combined with radiation curability. In applications requiring thermal cycling resistance, BR-640Dwithstands the extremes of temperature typical of such tests, without undue degradation of properties.Excellent hydrophobic properties exhibited where 0.012 and 0.037% water was absorbed by cured coating when submerged in water for 24 hours. In addition to the adhesion properties, BR-640D showed excellent adhesion to ABS, acrylic, nylon-6, PVC, and PS.

Bomar® BR-543 is a difunctional, aliphatic, polyether urethane acrylate. Films formulated with BR-543 exhibit superior physical and weathering capabilities. BR-543 may also be used to improve the flexibility, weathering, and adhesion characteristics of existing film and foil coatings.

Bomar®BR-970H is a low viscosity, difunctional, aliphatic urethane acrylate. BR-970H has high modulus and doesn’t necessarily need to be blended with other oligomers to achieve a balance of toughness and flexibility. BR-970H offers rapid cure and non-yellowing properties where premium performance is required. This oligomer is perfect for 2D and 3D inkjet applications as well for use in Graphic Arts application. Bomar™ BDT-1006 is a dendritic acrylate with an average functionality of 6. The hyper-branched structure of BDT-1006 imparts the unique combination of low diluted viscosity withunmatched chemical and thermal resistance, which is ideal in applications where withstanding exposure to the harshest conditions is paramount.Great for high-temperature applications because thermogravimetric analysis indicates the oligomer doesn’t decompose until 390 °C.

Bomar™ BR-541S a difunctional, polyether urethane acrylate that is used for its desirable balance of toughness and flexibility. It adheres readily to a variety of substrates including cold rolled steel, glass, PC, and stainless steel. It is an excellent choice for impact-resistant coatings. BR-541S is desirable for use in cosmetic applications where color stability and optically clear tough coatings are needed.

Bomar™ BR-941, a hexafunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate, isusedin applications that require a hard, chemicallyresistant, non-yellowing coating or adhesive with very fast cure response. BR-941’s high functionality and low molecular weight deliver its excellent properties to systems with a final viscosity much lower than is typical of urethane acrylates. BR-941 is compatible with a broad range of monomers and oligomers

BR-371MS, a low molecular weight, difunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane methacrylate oligomer, is a great fit for coatings that require high tensile strength, extremely low color, superior hardness, scratch resistance, and weathering resistance. BR-371MS provdes very low color and a high viscosity, ideal for hard gel nail coatings, and offers reduced heat generation vs other high tensile strength materials.

BRC-443 exhibits retention of mechanical properties after exposure to high temperatures (200oC for 30 minutes). Bomar™ BR-741MD1 is an aliphatic, difunctional polyester urethane acrylate offering excellent adhesion and flexibility. While not limited to these applications, BR-741MD1 is an effective choice in optically clear coatings and inks for plastics and metals. This oligomer is also perfect for UV & LED nail gel coatings because this material has low skin sensitivity and is INCI listed.

Bomar™ BR-742S is a difunctional, polyester Urethane Acrylate Oligomer that offers good weatherability. High-impact-strength coatings and inks can be formulated that are non-yellowing and have high gloss. This material offers low shrinkage, which is excellent for 3D printing applications. Furthermore, BR-742S is registered with INCI for cosmetic applications.

Bomar™ BRC-843S is a difunctional, hydrophobic urethane acrylate which can be formulated to be used in heavy-duty industrial and commercial applications. The resulting tough film makes a functional, non-yellowing, protective single-coating that extends the substrates use-life. BRC-843S is a softer and more flexible version of BRC-843. This oligomer is also tougher then BRC-843. The low water absorption and alkaline resistance make this oligomer perfect for specialty applications in the following industries: aerospace, appliance, automotive, electronic, coatings & inks for steel, plastic, glass and medical device.

BR-441BI20 is a fast-curing, high tensile strength, low molecular weight aliphatic polyester urethane acrylate with low color, high hardness, and excellent adhesion to plastic substrates. BR-441BI20 can be considered for use in high tensile strength overprint varnishes, high tensile strength 3D printing resins, and non-yellowing coatings.

Bomar®BR-930D is a trifunctional, urethane acrylate oligomer which offers high heat distortion temperatures. This product also offers high abrasion resistance, solvent resistance,and durability. BR-930D is perfect for 3D printing applications usingSLA, 3D inkjet,and DLP printers.

Bomar™ BR-744SD is a difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane acrylate offering excellent adhesion, flexibility, and tensile strength. It is excellent as an adhesion promoter or reactive tackifier, and is a perfect choice for optically clear UV-PSAs.

Bomar® BR-372, a medium molecular weight, di-functional, aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate oligomer, is a material offering a balance of toughness and flexibility, with very low color. Formulations with BR-372 yield high clarity films with adhesion to a variety of plastics, and can also be used in the manufacture of UV-curable fiberglass matrix resins. This material has low skin sensitivity for dental and cosmetic applications.

Bomar BR-202, an aromatic polyether urethane dimethacrylate, finds use in a diverse number of UV coating applications. BR-202 is valued for its strong bond strength, its affinity for glass, steel, and a variety of plastic substrates, and for its excellent elongation. BR-202 is also of value for its low initial color (despite its aromatic nature).

BOMAR®BR-144B, a medium molecular weight, trifunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate oligomer, offers the formulator a cost effective means of obtaining high abrasion resistance and solvent resistance in a durable, high-gloss coating. While not limited to these fields, BR-144B is an effective choice in wood and furniture applications, along with abrasion-resistant overprint varnishes.This material has low skin sensitivity for dental and cosmetic applications.

BR-144H15 is a trifunctional polyether urethane acrylate with excellent weatherability properties, fast cure speeds, and abrasion and solvent resistance. BR-144H15 is suitable for abrasion resistant wood coatings, hydrolytically stable inks, and coatings requiring additional cure speed with multifunctional oligomers.

Bomar™ BR-741 is a lowmolecular weight, difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane acrylatethatcan be effectively formulated for adhesion to steel, aluminum, and various plastics with some amount of surface energy. The resulting hard, tough film makes an effective protective coating, which will be non-yellowing, due to the aliphatic backbone of BR-741

LumiSetTM LSR-241P is a hydrophobic urethane methacrylate resin designed for use in top coat applications for hybrid and long-wear nail lacquers. Synthesized using building blocks from nail gel chemistries, LSR-241P is a solvent-borne film-forming resin that can offer nail lacquer formulators the benefits of impact resistance and durability from nail gels while also achieving a tack-free finish without the need for UV or LED lamps. The combination of toughness, and hydrophobicity offers formulators an alternative to leachable plasticizers or potentially toxic gloss enhancers. Top coats formulated with LSR-241P should be paired with an adhesion-promoting base coat or base/color coat combo to ensure proper adhesion to the nail bed. LSR-241P is INCI registered and can be formulated to cure with sunlight exposure using appropriate INCI-registered photoinitiators. Adding cellulosic film formers to this neat polyurethane resin increases the tack free dry time to acceptable nail lacquer dry times of two minutes or less.

LumiSet TM LSR-141 is a urethane methacrylate polymeric resin designed for use in base and color coat applications for hybrid and long-wear nail lacquers. Synthesized using building blocks from nail gel chemistries, LSR-141 is a solvent-borne film-forming resin that can offer nail lacquer formulators the benefits of adhesion and durability from nail gels while also achieving a tack-free finish without the need for UV or LED lamps. The combination of excellent adhesion, flexibility, and toughness offers formulators an alternative to other leachable plasticizers or potentially toxic adhesion promoters. The excellent adhesion of LSR-141 allows for the combination of color and base coats into one step. Base and color coats formulated with LSR-141 should also be paired with a hydrophobic top coat due to the hydrophilic nature of LSR-141. LSR-141 is INCI registered, and can be formulated to cure with sunlight exposure using appropriate INCI-registered photoinitiators. A non-reactive alternative version of LSR-141 is available as LSR-141N.

Bomar BR-116 oligomer, a trifunctional, aromatic polyether urethane methacrylate, is used in the manufacture of soft coatings and adhesives which are made to adhere to metals and glass. BR-116 offers superior bond strength and excellent reduction capabilities in common monomers.

This oligomer is highly recommended for use in single-coat, flexible coatings on metal and plastic substrates. It is an excellent choice for impact and bend resistant coatings. BR-582110 also brings desirable weather resistance and low-yellowing properties to formulations utilizing it.

BR-7432GI30, an aliphatic polyester urethane diacrylate, formulates into applications requiring adhesion to various substrates and applications where excellent toughness and flexibility are required. The BR-7432GI30 backbone performs very well in extended weatherability studies. Itis an excellent choice for impact and bend resistant coatings, and can act as an impact modifier for composite applications

BR-543TF is a difunctional aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate that is tin-free. Films formulated with BR-543TF exhibit superior physical and weathering capabilities. BR-543TF may also be used to improve the flexibility, weathering, and adhesion characteristics of existing film and foil coatings. This product shows a high degree of crystallinity at room temperature.

BOMAR® XR-145S, a high molecular weight, trifunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane methacrylate, provides low formulation viscosity and moderate elongation with non-yellowing properties. XR-145S shows adhesion to a variety of substrates, making it a candidate for consideration in mixed surface adhesion applications. It is mainly used in coatings for glass and primer coatings.
