MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® ABS A 1000/506 is a high heat and processing stabilized acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene/copolymer injection molding grade suitable for various market segments, such as domestic appliances and injection molded parts. The pre-drying conditions require 80°C in an air circulating dryer for 3-6 hours and 80°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours, depending on moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of <0.20%. The melt temperature during injection molding should be between 200-240°C and the mold temperature should be between 50-80°C. The product should also be protected from light in an environment not exceeding 30°C.
