WIC PA6 40 N is a Polyamide 6-based polymer filled with 40% carbon fiber and natural (carbon optic) color. It has medium viscosity and is heat aging stabilized, making it suitable for automotive and sport market segments. For pre-drying conditions, it should be heated to 80°C in a dry-air dryer for 2-8 hours depending on the moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of 0.12%. For processing conditions, an injection molding machine should be used with a melt temperature of 250-270°C and a mold temperature of 60-100°C. Under certain conditions, the increased thermal conductivity must be taken into account for optimum performance.
