PRIMIS® SAF 9600 is a specialty polymer dispersion with a fine particle size, specifically designed for formulating barrier coatings for paper and paperboard applications. When applied, PRIMIS® SAF 9600 creates a coating that offers several beneficial properties. The coated paper and paperboard become heat sealable, water repellent, and exhibit antiblocking properties. Furthermore, when formulated appropriately, the coating provides good resistance to oil and grease.

When the dispersion is stored in tanks, proper storage conditions must be maintained. The product has a shelf life of 6 months starting from the date of receipt if stored in the original, unopened containers at temperatures between 5 and 30 °C.
