- Chemical Family:Urethane Acrylates
- End Uses:Radiation Curable Coating
- Features:Outdoor Durability, Low Energy Consumption, Low Temperature-Curing, Faster Cycle Time, High Impact Resistance, Long Potlife, Improved Flexibility
EBECRYL® 8812 is an aliphatic urethane acrylate that stands out for not containing intentionally added organic tin compounds, heavy metals, hydroquinone (HQ), or methyl ether of hydroquinone (MEHQ). It's important to note that quinones may be present in some raw materials, so the overall quinone content is reduced but not zero in EBECRYL® 8812. Diluted with 10% by weight of the reactive diluent ethoxyethoxyethyl acrylate (EOEOEA), films of EBECRYL® 8812, when cured by ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB), exhibit excellent abrasion resistance, toughness, rapid cure response, and resistance to yellowing. Some of its notable features include faster cycle time, low-temperature curing, outdoor durability, low energy consumption, high impact resistance, improved flexibility, and long pot life.
