WACKER® HC 100 is a stable, VOC-compliant silicone emulsion with 50% actives. It can be diluted with water to create stable and penetrating water repellent emulsions. WACKER® HC 100 is specifically designed for treating various mineral substrates, such as architectural concrete, concrete block, splitface block, pavers, stucco, porous and dense brick, clay tile, and exposed aggregate concrete. This product is particularly effective in the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) market, where there is a need for good water repellency, beading, ease of use, and stability. However, it is not recommended for below-grade applications where there may be significant hydrostatic pressure.

SILRES® BS 16 is an aqueous solution of potassium methyl siliconate used in diluted form for the hydrophobic impregnation of mineral construction materials, making them water-repellent. The water-repellent properties of SILRES® BS 16 are developed through its reaction with atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), forming polymethylsilicic acid. However, it should be noted that, like all siliconates, SILRES® BS 16 may cause a white deposit on the surface of colored construction materials if used outside the recommended application guidelines.

Circa 1850® NU-LUSTRE-27 cures to a thick, high gloss coat in about 24 hours. One coat is usually all that is needed to produce the desired finish. Additional coats may be applied after previous coats have cured for a minimum of 24 hours, lightly sanding in between coats. NU-LUSTRE-27 may be applied over almost any surface, rough or smooth. It may be applied over leather, wood, varnish, ceramics, rocks, stones, dried flowers, shells, and many others. It is ideal as a gap/cavity/crack filler. If in doubt, test a small sample of the item you wish to cover. NU-LUSTRE-27 will NOT ADHERE to silicone or wax.
