Ebalta GM 900-1 / Comp. A+B is a very soft-elastic polyurea casting compound. ebalta GM 900-1 is suitable as a flexible casting system in the field of mold- and tooling for parts which require low shore hardness and high tear propgation resistance due to deep under cuts. Mold temperatures of about 60 °C lead and/or curing at 60°C, to faster curing and therefore short demoulding time. Demoulding can be reduced to 30-40 min

This product is a filled prototype casting compound on polyurethane base and is flame retardant according to UL 94 V-0 and clasification DIN EN 45545-2: 2013-08 class R24 HL2 Processing preferentially in standard vacuum casting plants.

Silicone casting compound LM is an addition curing silicone which cures at room temperature. After curing the material is food safe according to "BfR" and can be used as baking tin, molds for manufactoring chocolate, and so on. Any different handling of the silicone leads to expiration of license.

SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber is a two-component material consisting of a SILASTIC™ RTV-4136-M Base, which when mixed with the SILASTIC™ RTV-4136-M Curing Agent cures at room temperature by an addition reaction. A range of materials can be cast into the cured silicone mold: polyurethane, polyester and other reactive resins are materials typically used. SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber designed especially for use with urethane foams and other casting plastics. This high-strength, tear resistant product cures at room or elevated temperatures by an addition reaction. The special features of SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber help provide a long mold life, highly detailed reproductions and simplified handling. SILASTIC RTV-4136-M Liquid Silicone Rubber base is white, and its curing agent is regal blue to aid inspection for uniform blending. An easy-to-mix ratio of 10:1 base to curing agent helps ensure accurate measuring and blending by hand or machine. The material cures in unlimited thickness, regardless of part configuration or degree of confinement.

Ebalta GM 979 is an easy-to-handle-2components-polyurethane casting compound which shows very low adhesive properties compared to molding sand. Due to its high abrasion resistance, GM 979 is especially suitable for foundry patterns, which have to resist to abrasive wear by molded sand. GM 979 even keeps its high mechanical strength when using molding sands with higher temperatures.

Ebalta SG 700 A / PUR 5 is a two-component-Polyurethane casting resin, which cures very fast at room temperature. The very good workability and the excellent mechanical properties makes SG 700 a material with versatile application possibilities. ebalta SG 700 A is even more abrasion-resistant, but not so well workable by machine. Displacements, even made of wood, can be filled in. Material should be carefully stirred up/ shaked before use.

Ebalta GM 727 is a well castable two components polyurethane casting resin, curing slowly at room temperature. This casting resin is particularly suitable for solid casting of dimensionally accurate large-volume models with high temperature resistance. Due to low mixing viscosity of GM 727 you can add 70% filler F-B and about 50% plastic granules to reduce shrinkage to approx. 0.05%.

The mechanical properties will be reached after 7 d at room temperature or post curing of 8 h at 80°C. As bonding agent on aluminum support we recommend our PU coupling paste KP 8.

ebalta MG 425 is processed on a two-component low pressure device. The systems MG 400 / MG 425 / MG 475 are cured with the hardener PUR 19. By mixing MG 425 with MG 400 the E-modulus can variably between 630 – 1550 MPa. After grinding with a sand paper , grit 280, the surface can be varnished with a commercial lacquer. For better adhesion we recommend the use of a primer coat. Nitrocellulose lacquers have a better adhesion on polyurethane surfaces than on acryllacquer- systems. This material is most suitable for high pressure molding plants with high molding pressure and temperature resistance. For application at 60°C Shore hardness D is between 60-62! The postcured material is not UV stable and darkens by and by. However according to our experience the change in color does not affect its utilizability. As bonding agent on aluminum support we recommend our PU coupling paste KP 8. The material is also dimensionally stable at high temperatures. At a mold temperature of approx. 60°C a Shore hardness D of 62-64 will still be reached. Due to remanent brittleness, for complicated geometries we recommend demoulding after 48 hrs. As bonding agent on aluminum support we recommend our PU coupling paste KP 8.

Ebalta ebatemp is a high-quality two-component Polyurethane casting resin, which is very suitable for the production of vacuum thermoformed moldings. The fast casting resin, which is filled with very fine aluminum powder is very well castable and after curing very well polishable and workable. With ebatemp vacuum thermoformed moldings can be produced within 1-2 hours, these moldings show a temperature capacity of 80-90°C . Post-curing is not necessary. Material should be carefully stirred up/ shacked before use.

To achieve final properties as fast as possible, postcuring can be made at 60°C for 6-8 hrs. and after curing at room temperature. For complete curing of the parts, any non-postcured molds should only be employed after 2-3 days. Any non-observance may lead to shorter pot life. The potlife of GM 915-1 can be shortened by mixing hardener GM 951-1 with hardener GM 900-1 (see mixing table) For individuell formulation of the shore hardness, GM 900-1 can be mixed with GM 951-1 (see mixing table). With the A-component GM 951-1 Thix a spreadable surface resin can be obtained.

Ebalta HFG / PUR 11 is a light filled 2-components-polyurethane casting compound, which cures fast at room temperature. After curing this material is dimensional accurate light weight but anyway resistant, which is especially suitable for big volume backfilling of coreboxes and negative molds. For bigger wall thickness it is possible to mix about 35 volume parts "Kunststoffgranulat" (=synthetic granules) in comp. A in advance

Ebalta SILASTIC™ RTV 3481 is Excellent flow properties; pot life adjustable

Ebalta GH 706/GL is a well castable two-components epoxy resin, which cures at room temperature and can be casted 40 - 50 mm thickness. The resin GH 706 contains very fine hard fillers and with hardener GL it has got a very hard, wear resistant surface with high compression strength and very fine structure. Physical data as per test specimen cured for 8 hrs. at 80°C ebalta GH 706 is the castable version of the very hard gelcoat OH 6-1.

The product is a Polyurethane system. For improving of the flow characteristics, GM 973 can be preheated to approx. 30°C. The final strength is achieved at room temperature after approx. 3-5 days. By post-curing at 80°C for 5 hours the stated values are achieved in short time. Parts / molds must not be cast with addition curing silicone, since this might lead to faulty reactions when curing the silicone.

ebalta GH 723/D is a very well castable two-components epoxy resin, which, after curing at room temperature, can be worked on well with tools for metalworking. This system is a most suitable back cast resin for molds of which the back has to be worked on mechanically after curing. For back-casting round aluminum granules are used, for bulking: rough aluminum granules. Since the resin/hardener mixture is very liquid, a 50-100 weightcontent of fillers like aluminum granules or silica sand has to be added to get a back-cast mass of 100-200 mm thickness. Under normal circumstances a thickness of 40 mm can be reached with GH 723/D.

Ebalta GH 760/GL is a two-components epoxy resin, curing at room temperature, castable to 40 mm in open casting. The fine non-grinding fillers lead to good surface slip properties and mechanical workability. For this reason ebalta GH 760/GL is especially suitable for metal sheet tools as well as for foundry equipment. Due to its high strength and excellent dimensional accuracy this system is quite versatile.

ebalta MG 426 is processed on a two-component low pressure device. After grinding with a sand paper , grit 280, the surface can be varnished with a commercial lacquer. For better adhesion we recommend the use of a primer coat. Nitrocellulose lacquers have a better adhesion on polyurethane surfaces than on acryl-lacquer- systems.
