Agarite is a food grade agar optimized for use in high sugar products and for foods that require a higher gelling point such as that seen in bakery products, jams, icings and glazes. Agarite is available in a variety of gel strengths and is ideal in products that require rapid gelling.

With an electroendosmosis value between 0.23 and 0.26, this agarose is suitable for cross immunoelectrophoresis. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected.

European Bacteriological Agar is used as a gelling agent in the preparation of culture media and in other routine microbiological applications. European Bacteriological Agar has a high gel strength of 800-1 100 g/cm2 and is used at concentrations of 1.0%-2.0%.

Extra Low Melting (E. LM) Agaroses are derivatized by organic synthesis which generates methoxylate groups from the basic agarose structure. The main properties of these agaroses are their low melting and gelling temperatures when compared with standard agaroses.

With an electroendosmosis value of ≥0.3, this agarose is ideal for applications requiring a high EEO value or for mixing with lower EEO agaroses in order to prepare agaroses with desired EEO value.

Recommended product for analytical DNA gels ≤1 200 bp and especially PCR products. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected and there are no DNA Binding properties.

This agarose has a higher gel temperature than D1 agarose, which provides greater thermal stability to the gels. This product has low electroendosmosis (≤ 0.14). Its main applications are nucleic acid electrophoresis, protein electrophoresis, and preparation of agarose beads.

This agarose, with a GQT (Genetic Quality Tested) certificate, is especially recommended for preparatory nucleic acids electrophoresis ≥1 000 pb and in-gel applications. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected and does not have DNA Binding properties.

This type of agarose is similar to D1LE, but has an additional and particular feature: A special particle size distribution that provides easier and faster dissolution.

QSOL® High is a high solubility, quick-dissolving agar that completely dissolves at the relatively low temperature of 80 ºC. It is perfect for applications where energy savings is a concern. QSol® High Solubility Agar also prevents the loss of organoleptic properties in products where other ingredients may be heat sensitive.

Low Melt Agarose (low melting point) recommended for the separation of fragments ≥1 000 bp in analytical electrophoresis. The low melting temperature (65°C) allows the agarose to melt without damaging the DNA double helix. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected.

Ecoagar® Organic is a vegetable hydrocolloid extracted from seaweeds collected in ecologically certified natural environments and extracted following strict eco-equirements. This fine and homogeneous powder of a yellowish color is an all-natural, vegetarian thickening agent that can be used in icings, jellies, candies, yogurts and a number of other food applications.

Super Low Melting (S. LM) Agaroses are derivatized by organic synthesis which generates methoxylate groups from the basic agarose structure. The main properties of these agaroses are their low melting and gelling temperatures when compared with standard agaroses.

With an electroendosmosis value between 0.16 and 0.19, this agarose is recommended for serum protein electrophoresis and immunoelectrophoresis. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected.

Biomax is an ideal agarose for the rapid routine separation of DNA and RNA fragments, as well as for PCR products, plasmid preparation and for detection, cloning and transfer techniques.

Highly purified agarose with low electroendosmosis values ranging from 0.05 to 0.13. This product has a GQT (Genetic Quality Tested) quality control certificate and is especially recommended for DNA preparation gels. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected.

This agarose has an improved resolution efficiency for small DNA fragments (10-1 200 bp) and PCR products. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected, and its DNA Binding properties are very low.

The Pharmaceutical Agar meets the specifications of the European Pharmacopeia and USP. The methods used are according to EP/NF or validated as appropriate to EP/NF. It is used in the pharmaceutical industry in various applications, such as barium sulfate suspending agent in radiology, as laxative and lubricant, and in preparations of emulsions, suspensions, capsules, etc.

With an EEO value equal to D2LE, this agarose is especially designed for the preparation of agarose beads, particularly at very high concentrations.

Linear polymer with a very high molecular weight, giving gel structures unlike those of traditional agaroses. This characteristic, added to a very low sulfate content, produces a strong intercatenary interaction, which generates a gel with a very high gel resistance and a high exclusion limit.

Agarose recommended for DNA analytical gels. At a 2% concentration, it is capable of separating 30-1 500 bp fragments. The presence of DNase and RNase is not detected and does not have DNA Binding properties.

QSOL® SOFT Agar is extracted from marine seaweeds, it offers an outstading texture with spreadability and creaminess. QSOL® SOFT agar usage is very easy because of its rapid dissolution at 80ºC and no need of additional gelling aids to achieve a soft gel. It has an excellent synergy with sugar and other hydrocolloids. For some applications it can be a substitute of gelatin showing advantages over it (e.g. Lower dosage required and non -animal origin) which makes it ideal for vegan purposes. In other uses it shows some advantages over pectin requiring special conditions for gelation, like low pH, high brix and long time to set.

NuGel is a new low gelling/melting temperature Agarose GQT grade certified. This agarose, with high resolution capacity, finely resolves nucleic acid fragments from 50 bp to 1000 bp, especially PCR products. Due to its low gelling/melting temperatures NuGel GQT Agarose is compatible with In-gel applications (enzymatic processing of nucleic acids directly in remelted agarose) thus, it is not necessary to recover DNA from agarose gels.

D3 agarose has a very high molecular weight, much higher than other agarose, a characteristic that results from extremely high gel strength. The gel structure and exclusion limit are similar to D1 agarose.

Finger Printing DNA Agarose is a powerful tool in laboratories performing forensic testing, paternity determination, cell line verification, tissue typing, etc. F. P. DNA Agarose meets all requirements for DNA identity applications.

Gold Agar is a premium food grade agar with a particularly low gelling temperature. This agar is suitable for use in a wide range of applications such as confectionery, bakery, glazing, dairy and meat products. The low gelling temperature makes Gold Agar particularly useful in applications where solutions must be kept in liquid form for longer periods of time. Gold Agar is stable when autoclaving and also performs well in adverse pH conditions.

Is the agarose with the highest molecular sieving capacity; able to separate fragments of very small size with differences of few base pairs. Its gelling / melting temperatures are found in the Low Melt agarose range. Its low viscosity allows to prepare gels of high concentration and therefore increase its sieving capacity.
