MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PA6 900/8 GF10 MR20 SV1285-04MCF is a polyamide 6 base polymer with 30% glass fiber/mineral filler/additive system that provides a metallic effect, low warpage, and heat stabilization. It is optimized for low tendency to flow lines and is used in the automotive and various other markets for engine and drive systems. Typical applications include engine covers. To ensure proper processing, it is recommended to pre-dry the material at 80°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-12 hours, depending on moisture content. Injection molding with a melt temperature of 270-290°C and mold temperature of 80-100°C is recommended.
