- Application Details
In mold release applications, Wacker’s silicone emulsions are normally diluted to 0.5% - 2.5%. However, in a polish or specialty product formulation, the emulsions are normally used in their concentrated form. Optimum performance is often achieved by blending WACKER® E35 60000 with another E35 series emulsion, for a combination of properties. Normally, a higher viscosity silicone gives good durability and gloss, while the lower viscosity is easier to apply and rub out.
