Urochem Molding Compound 171 by BI-QEM is a urea formaldehyde resin reinforced with highly refined cellulose. It is modified with special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants. It exhibits good melt flow. It provides high hardness, glossy surface, excellent scratch resistance and excellent chemical resistance. It provides excellent electrical properties and resistance against surfactants & weak bases. It is suitable for processing by compression molding. Urochem Molding Compound 171 is recommended for electrical accessories, sanitary products, caps and closures. Resinoid 2089 is a chopped fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound offering good physical and wear properties. This product has been specifically formulated for mechanical applications where minimal wear and low shrinkage values are desired. This material comes in bulk fabric form and is suitable for compression molding.

Voltoid® V-090 is composed of a blend of organic and inorganic fibers, specially formulated inorganic fillers, and bound in a proprietary latex matrix. The material has good dielectric strength and a U.L. Flame Class Rating of 94-5VA. V-090 has a glow wire rating over 700˚C and is therefore suitable for demanding fire resistant applications.

Resinoid 2002-C5 is a fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It has improved heat distortion and dimensional stability. It has been formulated to exhibit excellent wear resistant properties. It is available in bulk form and is recommended for compression or transfer molding.

Voltoid® S-350 is a cellulose based electrical barrier and insulation material that has Underwriters Laboratories’ flame classification of 94 V-0. S-350 is UL approved for continuous service at 90˚C (electrical and mechanical). It has a combination of firmness with flexibility that makes it well suited for a number of uses. S-350 die cuts cleanly without excessive die wear. It can be fabricated by creasing, cut scoring, forming, and can be printed.

Voltoid® HP-450 is a high density composite designed to provide superior flame barrier properties and dimensional stability at high temperatures. Composed of aramid fiber, filler, and polymeric binders, it features low water absorption and exhibits outstanding electrical and mechanical properties.

Carbkid® Fiber VE SMC is a polymer composite material reinforced with carbon fiber, which consists of a thermoset resin (usually vinylester or epoxy) and different additives that allow to obtain certain specific characteristics and improve the behavior of the material during the molding process of the final product. While the standard SMC is reinforced with glass fibers, the CSMC is reinforced with cut fibers or carbon fabrics. CSMC materials combine the low-weight characteristics offered by carbon composites in conjunction with a widespread forming process, such as compression molding, which allows for short manufacturing cycles and is therefore suitable for industrial applications in large series.

Melochem Molding Compound 736 by BI-QEM is a general purpose melamine formaldehyde resin. It is reinforced with high-class cellulose and modified with special purpose additives, pigments, cure regulators and lubricants. It offers good hardness, glossy surface with excellent scratch and chemical resistance. It provides resistance against surfactants and weak bases. The molded products can be recycled and exhibit good light stability and low water absorption properties. It is designed for processing by injection molding. Melochem Molding Compound 736 is recommended for dinnerware jugs, ladles and bowls. It is also suitable for electrical applications and provides heat resistance and abrasion resistance. Voltoid® D-800 is a resin-bonded cellulose fiber composite material. The D-800 series of products are specially formulated to provide consistent electrical and mechanical performance under conditions of variable ambient humidity and/or moisture. D-800 is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories for continuous use as an electrical and mechanical barrier to 105˚C. It is easily fabricated by being punched and blanked.
