The start-up process has followed multiple plant audits to comply with international veterinary standards for safe animal ingredient inclusion. The new processing plant was commissioned by Industrial Maule Ltda. to DeSmet Ballestro, a leading refinery builder from Belgium.

The plant is located in Coronel, Chile at the heart of the salmon, anchovy, and sardine fishery complex within the world’s richest marine environment of the southwest Pacific Ocean.
