NEOSORB®70/70 B Sorbitol liquid crystallizing and non-crystallizing products are widely used excipients as vehicle in liquid dosage forms and as a humectant in semi solids. They can be used in various pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications including lozenges, medicated confectionary, syrups, suspensions, creams and pastes. These NEOSORB® 70/70 B brand materials are part of a large family of Roquette polyol compounds containing sorbitol and other hydrogenated long chain oligomers and polymers. NEOSORB®70/70 B solutions can be used as substitutes for sucrose and meet organoleptic (natural sweetness) and health requirements (i.e they are sugar-free, low-calorie, do not induce dental caries, and may be advised for diabetics). These grades will differ by a difference of composition and concentration in sorbitol and other polyols.

CAVAMAX® W6 Pharma is a pharmaceutical-grade alpha-cyclodextrin from Wacker Chemie AG. With 6 glucose units, it has the smallest cavity among the parent cyclodextrins. It is highly beneficial for solubilizing, stabilizing, or delivering small molecules. It helps in the solubilization, stabilization, and delivery of small active ingredients, e.g. fatty acids.

Kollicoat® Smartseal 30 D is insoluble in water (neutral pH) and dissolves quickly under protonation at pH-values of 5.5 and below due to the defined number of basic functional groups. It is a co-polymer comprising methyl methacrylate (MMA) and diethylaminoehtylmethacrylate (DEAEMA) in the ratio 6:4. Kollicoat Smartseal 30 D is an aqueous polymer dispersion (latex) with a faint characteristic odor. It contains approx. 0.6 % macrogol cetostearylether 20 and approx. 0.8% sodium laurylsulfate.

Kollicoat® Smartseal 100 P is a spray dried powder of a methyl methacrylate (MMA)and diethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DEAEMA) copolymer. The molar ratio of the monomers MMA and DEAEMA in the copolymer is 7:3. The powder contains approx. 2% macrogol cetostearyl ether and approx. 2.5% sodium lauryl sulfate. It is white and has a pleasant characteristic odor.

Kollicoat® SR 30 D is an aqueous dispersion with a solids content of 30%. The low viscosity product has a weak characteristic odor and a milky white or slightly yellowish appearance. The dispersion consists of about 27% polyvinyl acetate, 2.7% povidone and 0.3% sodium lauryl sulfate. Kollicoat® SR 30 D is miscible with water in any ratio while retaining its milky-white appearance. Mixing the product with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol in a 1:5 ratio produces a slightly turbid and somewhat viscous solution, a solution in acetone is more turbid. On addition of further organic solvents the polymer precipitates out but then dissolves when further solvent is added. It is insoluble in dilute alkaline or acidic solutions.

CAVAMAX® W8 Pharma is pharmaceutical-grade gamma-cyclodextrin from Wacker Chemie AG. This product, with 8 glucose units, has the largest cavity of the parent cyclodextrins and is the most water-soluble. It is useful for solubilizing, stabilizing, or delivering larger molecules, such as macrocyclics, oils, lipids, etc.

CERELOSE® Coarse Dextrose NF - 020350 is a coarse monohydrate dextrose product designed for applications requiring a unique coarser particle size profile, rounded and porous particle shape. This free-flowing material is manufactured according to IPEC cGMPs and tested for compliance with Dextrose Excipient NF standards. It can be used as an effective bulking agent in tablets, capsules, and other solid dosage forms to increase their volume and improve their handling properties besides having good compression ability.
