XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer manufactured to yield essentially linear polymers in a wide range of viscosities. The viscosities generally used in formulating polishes are in the range of 100 to 30,000 cSt. It is preferable to use a blend of a low-viscosity fluid and a high-viscosity fluid (e.g. 3 parts XIAMETER(TM) PMX- 200 Silicone Fluid 100 cSt and 1 part XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt) to obtain optimum results in terms of ease of application and depth of gloss. The low-viscosity silicone fluid acts as a lubricant to make polish application and rubout easier, whereas the high-viscosity silicone fluid produces a greater depth of gloss. Since these polymers are inherently water-repellent, they will cause water to bead up on a treated surface rather than penetrate the polish film.

ELASTOSIL® N9111 White is a non-slump, non-corossive, alkoxy-cure, one-component silicone that cures at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture. It is a multipurpose sealant and adhesive for the appliance, automotive, and electronics industries. Due to its shear-thinning nature, ELASTOSIL® N9111 White is easy to apply. The material starts curing upon contact with air humidity.

ELASTOSIL® SOLAR 3210 A/B is a pourable addition-curing RTV-2 silicone rubber specifically designed for coating, lamination, encapsulation, and molding applications. This product undergoes vulcanization at both room temperature and under heat, resulting in a transparent silicone rubber with excellent transmission properties and a moderate hardness. Cured ELASTOSIL® SOLAR 3210 A/B exhibits exceptional long-term stability against weathering, moisture, and UV light. The cured silicone rubber can continuously withstand changing climatic conditions, UV radiation, and temperatures as high as 200°C (392°F) without damage.

SEMICOSIL® 949 UV A has a mixing ratio of 10:1 for its two parts and exhibits low viscosity, making it easy to handle and process. GENIOSIL® WP 1 is a polyether-based silane-terminated polymer suitable as a binder in moisture-curing formulations. It differs from conventional silylated polymers due to its high reactivity, which results from the structural proximity of the nitrogen atom to the silicon atom in the dimethoxy(methyl)silyl-methylcarbamate group (alpha-effect). It hydrolyzes in the presence of moisture to form a stable siloxane network initiated by mild catalysis, rather than heavy metal ions.
