This product is a filled prototype casting compound on polyurethane base and is flame retardant according to UL 94 V-0 and clasification DIN EN 45545-2: 2013-08 class R24 HL2 Processing preferentially in standard vacuum casting plants.

Ebalta LH 22 / GL is an epoxy laminating resin, which, depending on its application, can be used with the slow GL hardener or the faster GR hardener. They distinguish by minimal physiolgical effects. Regarding dimensional accuracy and –stability, laminates made of ebalta LH 22, even come up to great demands. Due to its long potlife ebalta LH 22/GL is especially suitable for large-area and thick laminates, which also with a thickness of more than 10 mm, applied in one step, cure without any shrinkage at room temperature.

ebalta AH 120/ TL-1 is a very thin liquid epoxy resin with high values of strength and dimensional stability. Due to its good impregnating and wetting properties it is suitable as laminating resin for high-strength components with fabrics of glass –or carbon fiber. ebalta AH 120/ TL-1 is suitable for laminating of thin as well as thick laminates with large surface up to a thickness of 10 mm. Mechnical properties basing on test pieces being postcured for 8 hrs. at 80°C Demoulding depending on layer thickness, geometry and room temperature. Check for individual case. Postcuring before demoulding of laminates, if possible.

Ebalta AH 120 / TGS is heat resistant laminating resin.

The product group ebalta SG 2000 consists of high-quality, nearly odorless two-component-Polyurethane casting resins without mixed in filler. The filler is stirred in when the components are mixed. There are different resin components available, which are processed with one hardener. The single types differ in potlife and curing time.

This product is a polyurethane system. The processing is preferably made in customary vacuum pouring plant. Manual processing possible. Mouldmaterial: we recommend silicone molds, for example Silastic® RTV 4234-T4O.

Ebalta SG 131 / PUR 11 is a Polyurethane system. Material should be carefully stirred up/ shaked before use. Filler content and sales units are on the separate mixing table noted.

Ebalta AH 110 / TGS is a non-filled epoxy resin with high strength and dimensional stability, even at increasing temperature. It also can be used as casting resin with powder fillers as aluminum powder, as laminating resin with glass fabrics and as binding resin with granular fillers as aluminum granules. Depending on the application if just needs to use a different hardener for the mixture. As laminating resin AH 110 / TGS is suitable for thin high solid laminates.

Ebalta SG 700 A / PUR 5 is a two-component-Polyurethane casting resin, which cures very fast at room temperature. The very good workability and the excellent mechanical properties makes SG 700 a material with versatile application possibilities. ebalta SG 700 A is even more abrasion-resistant, but not so well workable by machine. Displacements, even made of wood, can be filled in. Material should be carefully stirred up/ shaked before use.

Ebalta AH 100 is a very thin, unfilled epoxy resin, which can be used with different hardeners. Depending on the application the suitable hardener can be mixed with the resin AH 100. Due to its almost odorless skinfriendly hardener GL this mixture is also suitable as laminating resin. The good wetting properties allow fast laminating and lead to high glass contents of the laminate. This way you get solid and dimensionally stable parts.

GM 986-1 Comp. B (Amine) can be subject to color variations due to raw materials, but these color variations have no influence on the quality and the properties of the product. This material is most suitable for high pressure molding plants with high molding pressure and temperature resistance. For application at 60°C Shore hardness D is between 60-62! The postcured material is not UV stable and darkens by and by. However according to our experience the change in color does not affect its utilizability. As bonding agent on aluminum support we recommend our PU coupling paste KP 8. The material is also dimensionally stable at high temperatures. At a mold temperature of approx. 60°C a Shore hardness D of 62-64 will still be reached. Due to remanent brittleness, for complicated geometries we recommend demoulding after 48 hrs. Ebalta ebatemp is a high-quality two-component Polyurethane casting resin, which is very suitable for the production of vacuum thermoformed moldings. The fast casting resin, which is filled with very fine aluminum powder is very well castable and after curing very well polishable and workable. With ebatemp vacuum thermoformed moldings can be produced within 1-2 hours, these moldings show a temperature capacity of 80-90°C . Post-curing is not necessary. Material should be carefully stirred up/ shacked before use.

Ebalta AH 100 is a very thin, unfilled epoxy resin, which can be used with different hardeners. Depending on the application the suitable hardener can be mixed with the resin AH 100. AH 100 / TGL is preferentially used for big volume backfillings.

ebalta AH 140 is a very thin liquid two-component-epoxy resin with high values of strength and high heat resistance. Due to its very good impregnating and wetting properties it is suitable as laminating resin for high-strength components with fabrics of glass –or carbon fiber. Especially for thin laminates, a post-curing of 16 hours at 80°C, after curing at room temperature, is essential in order to guarantee a complete curing. Otherwise the non post-cured laminate will be brittle and the adhesion of the layers with each other will not be sufficient.

AH 110/GL is an epoxy resin with high strength even on elevated temperatures. It can be used as a casting resin with powdery fillers like aluminum powder, as a laminating resin with fiber glass cloth and as a bonding resin for granular fillers like aluminum granules. Depending on the application you can choose from a variety of hardeners. AH 100/GL is suitable as laminating resin for large area parts and thick laminates. Due to its almost odourles skin friendly hardener GL, this mixture is especially applicable as laminating resin. With a mixing ratio of 100:39 you reach an about 15°C higher TG, slightly stiffer laminates as well as better impact resistance. The laminate thickness should not exceed 6-7 mm.

ebalta SG 150 is a four component acryl casting resin. It consists of 2 liquid components and a hardener powder. Both liquid components are filled with the 1,5 amount in ppw of special aluminum powder. The resin cures within 20-30 minutes to well heat-conducting, heat-resistant molds. The cured molds are very well workable by machines. The structure is extremely dense and the machined areas have an aluminum-like appearance. It is possible to cast any quantity, which can be mixed in one or more containers. Altercating or casting in layers is not possible. Therefore it is very important to determine the casting volume exactly in order to avoid that the mixed quantity is too small. Since the hardener powder is hygroscopic, always seal it air-tight. We recommend to sieve it before each use. Linear shrinkage as per mixture listed in the data sheet. Room temperature and starting temperature of resin components are 21°C as per measurement. For other temperatures or a different content of aluminum powder, shrinkage might also be different.

Ebalta HFG / PUR 11 is a light filled 2-components-polyurethane casting compound, which cures fast at room temperature. After curing this material is dimensional accurate light weight but anyway resistant, which is especially suitable for big volume backfilling of coreboxes and negative molds. For bigger wall thickness it is possible to mix about 35 volume parts "Kunststoffgranulat" (=synthetic granules) in comp. A in advance

Ebalta IH 16 / hardener slow is a very thin liquid two component epoxy resin with high strength values and high mold resistance. Due to its good soaking and wet-out characteristics the resin/hardener mixture is suitable as infilitration resin for porouse printed parts. The resin/hardener mixture is suitable as an infiltrations resin for porouse printed parts because of its good soaking and wet-out characteristics.

Ebalta LH 30 / Resin+Hardener is a two components epoxy laminating resin, precuring at room temperature and, depending on postcuring, can be used till 175°C. Since this laminating resin system contains no fillers, it has got good wetting properties and makes a high glass fabric content possible. This leads to a low coefficient of thermal expansion and high strength. Together with aluminum granules, ebalta LH 28-1 is suitable for back filling of heat resistant molds and molding tools.

Ebalta AH 150 / IP 25 is a very low-viscosity two-component epoxy resin with high strength and high dimensional stability. Due to its good soaking and wetting properties the resin/hardener mixture is suitable for infusion and laminating of solid parts with glass or carbon fibers. The hardeners IP 25, IP 55 as well as IP 430 can be mixed with each other thus reaching pot life between 10 min. and 430 min. Please ask for our mixing table IP 25/IP 430. ebalta AH 150/IP 25 is suitable for infusions with a flow distance up to approx. 450 mm as well as for laminating thin and largearea laminates up to 3 mm thickness.

Ebalta GM 727 is a well castable two components polyurethane casting resin, curing slowly at room temperature. This casting resin is particularly suitable for solid casting of dimensionally accurate large-volume models with high temperature resistance. Due to low mixing viscosity of GM 727 you can add 70% filler F-B and about 50% plastic granules to reduce shrinkage to approx. 0.05%.

ebalta GH 730/BR is a quite versatile two-components epoxy resin with good castability, curing at room temperature. Due to its easy workability as well as its high strength and low shrinkage there’s a big variety of applications as mouldmaking, toolmaking and in foundries. Moreover the high impact resistance and cast thickness of more than 30 mm make even more applications possible.

ebalta MG 425 is processed on a two-component low pressure device. The systems MG 400 / MG 425 / MG 475 are cured with the hardener PUR 19. By mixing MG 425 with MG 400 the E-modulus can variably between 630 – 1550 MPa. After grinding with a sand paper , grit 280, the surface can be varnished with a commercial lacquer. For better adhesion we recommend the use of a primer coat. Nitrocellulose lacquers have a better adhesion on polyurethane surfaces than on acryllacquer- systems. Seal porous mold surfaces first (ebalta mold sealer). For optimum mold releasing we recommend a special release agent (like T1-1), which can be applied easily with a brush or be sprayed. Releasing of the mold 2-3 times, evaporate for about 20 min. after each releasing.
