METABLEN™ A 3000 is an acrylic-modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) used in vacuum molding, foam molding, blow molding and profiling. It improves the melt tension that is required in these processing methods by minimizing increases in melt viscosity, without sacrificing the inherent properties of thermoplastics.BenefitsIncreases melt tension of a resinMaintains fluidityEnhances die swellImproves the flexural modulus, heat deformation temperature, and other properties of polypropyleneAnti-drip effect with flame-retardant resinsImproves filler dispersibilityBetter surface appearanceIncreases foam expansion ratioApplicationsAutomotiveConsumer goodsElectric and electronics*METABLEN™ is provided by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, a member of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group.
