ALCOM® PBT 700/1 PTFE20

MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PBT 700/1 PTFE20 is a Polybutylene Terephthalate base polymer with 20% PTFE filler/additive system designed to improve sliding/wear and heat stability. It is commonly used in the automotive and machinery markets for functional components and can be processed through injection molding with a melt temperature of 250-270°C and mold temperature of 60-100°C. To ensure the best performance, it should be pre-dried in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 100-120°C for 2-4 hours or in an air circulating dryer at 100-120°C for 4-8 hours, depending on moisture content.
