MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/2566 PTFE20 is a polycarbonate-based polymer with a 20% PTFE filler/additive system that provides improved sliding/wear performance. It is mainly used for functional components in the automotive and machinery market segments. For pre-drying, the recommended conditions are 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-3 h, or in an air circulating dryer between 100-120°C for 4-12 h, depending on the moisture content. The injection molding melt temperature should range between 270-310°C, and the mold temperature should be between 80-110°C.
