MOCOM Compounds ALTECH® ABS A 1000/566 is a high heat stabilized, low gloss Acrylonitrile/Butadiene/Styrene/Copolymer suitable for injection molded parts, clothing, and fasteners in the automotive market. Pre-drying conditions include 80°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours and 80°C in an air circulating dryer for 3-6 hours depending on moisture content, with a maximum moisture content of 0.20%. The melt and mold temperatures for processing injection molding should be 200-240°C and 50-80°C respectively. Care should be taken to ensure that the temperature is not exceeded during processing.
