MOCOM Compounds CELLIDOR® B 631-10 is a cellulose acetate butyrate base polymer used for injection molding with a phthalate-free plasticiser filler/additive system. It is pre-dried in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer or air circulating dryer at temperatures of 50-70°C for 1-2 h or 2-4 h respectively, depending on moisture content. The extrusion melt temperature ranges from 190-235°C, and indie temperature from 40-80°C. It is used in the sport and leisure and various market segments for extruded parts and profiles, with typical applications such as protection-strips and grease reservoirs. The parts produced using this polymer have excellent dimensional stability and high strength.
