MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL A80E 2GP0000 is a thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM) with a black color and high viscosity. It features good weathering resistance, good chemical resistance, good ozone resistance, good hot air resistance, and good hydrolysis resistance. It is suitable for use in the automotive, building and construction, machinery, electrical and electronic, and furniture sectors and can be used for extruded parts, blow molded parts, coextrusion, profile, seals, sealing lip, conduit, tubes, cable guides, cable jacketing, bellows, and air ducts. Processing with injection molding requires a melt temperature of 200-250°C and a mold temperature of 20-70°C. MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® MED PS 1000 AS 14114 is a polystyrene impact resin with a permanent antistatic filler/additive system designed for Medical/Personal Care applications, suitable for injection molded parts such as housings. Its melt temperature should be between 180-260°C and its mold temperature should be between 10-70°C. Pre-drying should be done in an air circulating dryer at 60-80°C for 2-3 hours, or in a dry air (dessicant) dryer at 60-80°C for 2-3 hours, depending on the moisture content.
