MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL A80I 3EF0010 is a thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM) with a black color and special features including easy flow, high surface quality, black fulfilling weathering dry, hot (Kalahari, PV3929), black fulfilling weathering moist, hot (Florida, PV3930), good weathering resistance, good chemical resistance, and good ozone and hot air resistance. It is applicable to the automotive, building and construction, electrical and electronic, sport and leisure, and furniture market segments and can be used for injection molded parts, seals, sealing lips, handles, soft touch elements, impact protection/shock absorbers, protection caps, thin walled parts, profiles, cable ducts, 2K components, and casters. It has adhesion to polypropylene homopolymer, polypropylene copolymer, polyethylene, thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM), thermoplastic olefin elastomer, thermoplastic elastomer general, and has a maximum service temperature range of -40-125°C.
