Applications & Uses
- Cure Method
- Applications
- The cure is accomplished by simply mixing equal parts (1:1) by weight of part A and part B. ELASTOSIL LR 6289 A/B is not easily desired and should be mixed in an airless system.
- Vulcanization ELASTOSIL® LR 6289 A/B is vulcanized by mixing part A with part B in a ratio of 1:1 with the application of heat.
- Cure initiation is exhibited at 325F / 150°C recommended for 3 minutes, depending on application and thickness.
- Distinguishing Features ELASTOSIL® LR 6289 A/B when fully cured at recommended conditions is suitable for FDA requirements for 21 CFR 175.300.
