In mold release applications, WACKER® E35 350 is normally diluted to 0.5% - 2.5%. A suitable preservative should be incorporated into all water-based formulations to help retard the growth of bacteria. In a polish or specialty product formulation, WACKER® E35 350 is normally used in its concentrated form. Optimal performance is achieved by blending WACKER® E35 350 with another emulsion is in the Wacker® E35 series to get a combination of properties. Normally, a higher viscosity type silicone will give high gloss and durability, while the lower viscosity emulsions are easier to apply and rubout.
