WACKER® FC 382 is a polyalkylene oxide-modified polydimethylsiloxane that offers a unique combination of uses not achievable with traditional organic surfactants. It can be used in both aqueous and non-aqueous systems. This product is a multi-functional polydimethylsiloxane, where organo-functional groups are attached to the polydimethylsiloxane through chemically inert alkylene spacer groups, ensuring stability against hydrolysis.

Application Details
  • WACKER® FC 382 is particularly suitable in numerous applications, including: coating to improve coefficient or friction and leveling properties.
  • Due to WACKER® FC 382 low surface tension it can yield high wetting, while also enhancing lubricity, sheen, gloss, anti-caking, static suppressing, antifoaming and moderate profoaming.
  • It also demonstrates surfactancy properties that are of benefit in multiple other end applications. It is 100% concentrated, economical, and has low toxicity.
