Cherry Central IQF Frozen Blueberries, Cultivated (FP02-01) are prepared from sound, properly ripened fresh fruit of the blueberry bush (Genus Vaccinium) which are cleaned and destemmed, properly washed, individually quick frozen, and packaged in a polylined box, then stored at 0°F or less. IQF blueberries shall meet the minimum requirements of the U.S.D.A. for Grade A.

Cherry Central Red Tart Pitted Cherries, IQF - Diced (FP07-59) are prepared from properly ripened fruit of the Montmorency variety group. The fruit is carefully harvested, washed, cooled, and rapidly handled prior to processing. Cherries are destemmed, sorted, sized, and pitted. The fruit is individually quick frozen, packaged in a polylined box, passed through a metal detector, and stored at 0°F or less. The IQF cherries are removed from the freezer, mechanically halved, conveyed across a shaker screen, sorted, and inspected. The halved cherries are sent through the slicer a second time, producing a random-cut diced cherry (approximately 3/8" dice). The fruit is repackaged and passed through a metal detector before returning to the freezer.

Cherry Central Dried Cranberries, Sliced Sweetened - With Sucrose (FP03-01) are produced from sliced frozen cranberries. They are sweetened with sucrose (cane sugar), dried to a specified percentage of moisture, and packaged. Sunflower oil is used as a processing aid to help prevent sticking.

Cherry Central IQF Dark Sweet Cherry - Halves (FP04-18) are prepared from the properly ripened fruit of commercial dark sweet cherry varieties. The fruit is carefully harvested and handled rapidly prior to processing. The cherries are destemmed, washed, sized, pitted, sorted, and sliced. The halved cherries are individually quick-frozen in a commercial freezing unit, packed at 0°F - 5°F, and stored in accordance with good commercial practices at 0°F for best preservation.

Cherry Central IQF Dark Sweet Pitted Cherries, Diced (FP04-12) are prepared from IQF dark sweet cherries. The frozen cherries are tempered and randomly diced, filled into polylined cartons, and stored frozen in a commercial freezing unit at 0°F for preservation.

Cherry Central Dried Red Tart Cherries, Unsweetened, Organic - No Oil (FP07-214) are made from unsweetened organic red tart pitted cherries. They are dried to a specified moisture level, equalized, and packaged. Tart cherries are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and copper. They are perfect for sweets and savory foods.

The apples are washed, peeled, cored, sliced, and vacuum brined to preserve color. Slices are individually quick frozen (IQF) and packed 40 lbs. to each polylined carton. The product is stored at 0°F or less.

Cherry Central Red Sour Cherry Juice Concentrate 65° Brix - Essence Returned (FP07-60) is prepared from 100% unfermented juice of Montmorency Red Sour Cherries (Prunus Cerasus). The collected juice is depectinized, filtered, and concentrated to 68 brix with the essence returned. The final concentrate is barreled and frozen at 0°F.

Cherry Central Organic Dried Red Sour Cherries, Sweetened, Diced - With Rice Flour (FP07-148) are made from red sour pitted cherries and infused with sugar. They are dried to a specified moisture, equalized, diced, mixed with rice flour and sunflower oil, and then packaged. Sunflower oil and rice flour are used as processing aids to prevent clumping.

Cherry Central Montmorency Red Tart Cherries - Juice Stock (FP07-78) is produced from orchard runs and/or production line sort outs. The fruit is collected and packed into polylined 52-gallon drums or polylined totes. The juice stock fruit may include varying degrees of blemished, soft, and crushed cherries. Field run cherries are not pitted and may include stems and other HEVM.

All products are evaluated based on U.S. Standards for grades of frozen red sour pitted cherries (June 1974) Grade A 94 score.
