MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/4 BL1411-07LD is a polycarbonate-based compound with a special filler/additive system suitable for Automotive and Lighting applications. It requires pre-drying conditions of 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 h and 120°C in an air circulating dryer for 4-12 h with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%. Typical applications include lamp covers, display elements, and operating elements. It is approved under GS93016 and is suitable for injection molding with a melt temperature of 270-310°C and a mold temperature of 80-110°C. It should be stored in a dry place and protected from light, with the lid firmly secured after use.
