MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® POM 770/1 MO2 is a pre-dried Polyoxymethylene Copolymer containing 2% molybdenium disulphide, which has improved sliding/wear properties and is used in the automotive and machinery market segments. It should be processed by injection molding with a melt temperature of 180-220°C and mold temperature of 60-120°C. Prior to processing, it must be dried in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer or an air circulating dryer at 100-110°C for 2-3 hours or 3-5 hours, respectively, depending on the moisture content.
