MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PWL 10/1 WT1130-09LB is a polycarbonate base polymer containing 15% special filler which is highly reflective and opaque and is impact modified. It is suitable for applications such as light guides and reflectors and can be used in the automotive and various market segments. For injection molding, a melt temperature of 280-320°C and a mold temperature of 80-110°C is recommended. Additionally, pre-drying conditions should include 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours, 120°C in an air circulating dryer for 4-12 hours, with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%.
