EDAPLAN LA 451 reduces the surface tension of aqueous systems without increasing the foam formation. Thus substrate wetting, leveling and gloss are improved. EDAPLAN LA 451 is free of silicone and has no adverse effects on recoatability. This additive is compatible with all common resin systems.

TAFIGEL PUR 45 is designed as an “associative thickener” which builds up and stabilizes viscosity by forming a network between polyurethane, binder molecules and other paint ingredients. TAFIGEL PUR 45 can be used alone or in combination with other TAFIGEL thickeners, as well as with further thickener technologies. Aqueous gloss paints, thickened with TAFIGEL PUR 45 show minimal pseudoplasticity, similar to the rheology of solvent borne systems. TAFIGEL PUR 45 is recommended for use in following systems: Interior and exterior paints, latex paints, anticorrosive paints, emulsion plasters, adhesives, printing inks and joint fillers.

EDAPLAN LA 413 is suitable for all non-aqueous and water reducible coating systems. It improves slip, scratch resistance and leveling. EDAPLAN LA 413 provides improved surface properties specifically in clear systems. It does not create foam and is resistant to hydrolysis.

EDAPLAN 930 is a high molecular weight dispersing agent for solvent-based and high-solid systems. It is also suitable for water-based systems. EDAPLAN 930 is designed for dispersing organic and inorganic pigments, as well as fillers. EDAPLAN 930 reduces the viscosity at low shear ranges and stabilizes the pigments against flocculation. Furthermore it increases gloss and color strength of the coating.

AGITAN DF 6002 is a defoamer for all common emulsion systems. It provides the following properties which Controls foaming and aeration during paint manufacture, filling and application, very fast bubble break, highly effective even at low concentrations, effective over a wide range of pH and temperature, and long lasting efficiency.

AGITAN 295 is a surface active product formulated for middle viscous, finely dispersed pigmented coatings. Existing foam will be destroyed. Re-creation of foam will be avoided. Furthermore AGITAN 295 is also recommended for treatment of different types of polyvinylalcohol - solutions.

AGITAN 655 is an easily emulsifiable defoamer which can be used in pigmented as well as in clear and low viscosity systems. AGITAN 655 is an universal defoamer which is effective in all common aqueous emulsion systems and water reducible systems.

Due to its low emulsifiability in water the defoamer is ideal for medium to high viscosity formulations. In low viscosity systems AGITAN 265 is recommended if high levels of wetting agents are present or high shear is applied which assists the incorporation of the defoamer.
