• WETSOFT® NE 500 is used for hydrophilic treatment of all kinds of fibers and textiles.
• It is recommended to dilute the product 1:1 with water in order to obtain a ready-to-use silicone emulsion of 25% solid content.
• WETSOFT® NE 500 is suitable for padding and exhaust application under common conditions. It can be used on its own or together with organic fabric softeners, polyethylene waxes and other finishing agents. The individual compatibility should be tested on a case-by-case basis.

Processing

• For padding it is recommended to use 10 to 30 g/l of the 1:1 diluted WETSOFT NE 500.
• In case of direct use without prior dilution, the bath con-centration of WETSOFT® NE 500 should be 5 to 15 g/l.
• For exhaust application with a liquor ratio of 1:20, WETSOFT® NE 500 should be applied at 3% by weight of fabric.

• WETSOFT NE 500 imparts a pleasant, soft, supple hand to woven and knitted fabrics as well as to towels. Furthermore finishing with WETSOFT® NE 500 improves the moisture management of the treated textiles. Additionally wash-and-wear properties and the crease recovery angle, sewability and tear strength are increased and abrasion loss is reduced.
• WETSOFT® NE 500 has only very little effect on whiteness. It does not generally affect the color shade or fastness of colored goods.
