MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® PC 740/4 UV GY1415-04LD is a polycarbonate injection molding grade with a special filler/additive system that is translucent, light scattering, processing stabilized, UV stabilized, and approved by GS93016. It is designed for pre-drying conditions of 120°C in a dry air (desiccant) dryer for 2-4 h and 120°C in an air circulating dryer for 4-12 h, with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%. It is used for automotive and lighting applications such as lamp covers, display elements, and operating elements. The processing injection molding melt temperature should be 270-310°C, and the mold temperature should be 80-110°C.
