MOCOM Compounds ALCOLOR® PBT A BK979-3116 is a black colorant, similar to RAL 9004, for use in Polybutylene Terephthalate. It has a dosage of 5% extrusion and 5% injection molding, dependent on wall thickness and required color intensity, as well as the application and operational area. It has a light fastness colorant of blue woolscale 8 and must be pre-dried with a maximum moisture content of <0.04%. Furthermore, it has a high additive content, is free from cadmium, lead and diarylide pigments, has high dispersibility, and is dust-free. It is suitable for use in automotive, machinery, electrical and electronic, furniture, building and construction, and sport and leisure applications.
