MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® LD2 PC 1000 UV 14011 GY1013-14 is a polycarbonate base polymer with high light transmission, light scattering, easy flow, and UV stabilization. It is used in the automotive and lighting markets for applications such as lamp covers, display elements, and operating elements. It has GS93016 approvals. For processing injection molding, the melt temperature should be between 270-310°C and the mold temperature should be between 80-110°C. The pre-drying conditions should be 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours and 120°C in an air circulating dryer for 4-12 hours, with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%.
