MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® LD2 PC 1000 UV 16104 WT2288-09TL is a polycarbonate base polymer filled/additive system with UV stabilizers and light scattering special features for the Automotive and Lighting market segments. Its typical applications include lamp covers, display elements, and operating elements, and it has been approved by GS93016. Pre-drying conditions should be 120°C in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer for 2-4 hours and 120°C in an air circulating dryer for 4-12 hours with a maximum moisture content of <0.02%. Processing injection molding should be done at a melt temperature of 270-310°C and a mold temperature of 80-110°C.
