MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® POM 770/1 SLAP is a polyoxymethylene copolymer pre-dried in either a dry air (dessiccant) or air circulating dryer at 100-110°C for 2-3 h or 3-5 h respectively, depending on the moisture content. It contains a special filler for improved sliding/wear and heat stabilization. This material is primarily used in the automotive and machinery industries for injection molded parts such as bearings and sliding elements, and functional components. The melt temperature for injection molding is 180-220°C and the mold temperature should be set between 60-90°C.
