MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® POM 770/1 SLBV is a polyoxymethylene copolymer with a special filler and improved sliding/wear and heat stabilized properties. It is typically used in functional components, bearings, and sliding elements in the automotive and machinery industry and can be processed using injection molding with a melt temperature of 180-220°C and a mold temperature of 60-90°C. Pre-drying should be done using either a dry air (dessiccant) dryer or an air circulating dryer at 100-110°C for 2-3 hours or 3-5 hours respectively, depending on the moisture content.
