MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL D40I 4GP0000 is a thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM) that comes in natural color, bright inherent color, and black. It has low emission, good colorability, easy flow, and good weathering, chemical, ozone, hot air, and hydrolysis resistance. It is used in automotive, building and construction, electrical and electronic, sport and leisure, and furniture applications for injection molded parts such as seals, sealing lips, handles, racking/shelving, impact protection/shock absorber, protection caps, thin walled parts, profiles, cable ducts, casters, and 2K components. It has good adhesion to polypropylene homopolymer, polypropylene copolymer, polyethylene, thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM), thermoplastic olefin elastomer, and thermoplastic elastomer general. It is ideal for applications requiring high temperature performance and resistance to weathering.
