Tallicin® 4200 decreases the porosity of unsaturated polyesters and provides a smooth, level finish to the surface. It also eliminates the effects of craters and "orange peel." Tallicin® 4200 is also useful in overcoming bubbles in other types of high solids formulations and acts to improve flow and leveling in these systems.

Terasperse® 223 - A low VOC, low foaming, alkyl phenol ethoxylate-free dispersant for a wide range of water-based vehicle systems for industrial and architectural coatings, as well as aqueous inks. At 34% active, Terasperse® 2230 is an excellent dispersant for organic and inorganic pigments and does not significantly affect gloss, dry time, resistance properties, film hardness and other film properties. The product can improve color acceptance when added to the finished ink or coating formulation.

Tallicin® 4400 is designed to minimize bubbles in clear UV coatings, polyurethanes and unsaturated polyesters. It acts as a bubble release agent without affecting film clarity in clear systems. In formulations tested, no surface haze was observed as often occurs with other bubble-release additives.

Tallicin® K-3 is a unique wetting and dispersing agent for both organic and inorganic pigments. Dispersant K-3 through it's well balanced surface active functionality optimizes the dispersion of almost all pigments and extenders, including such difficult to disperse pigments as phthalo blue,phthalo green and carbon black. Thus flocculation, flooding, floating and color development problems can be overcome through use of Tallicin K-3. Tallicin K-3 is a lower viscosity, lower solids version of Tallicin K-2 and is designed to replace standard dispersants.

Teraflow® 5311 provides mar resistance without a corresponding decrease in coefficient of friction. Tallicin® 5311 also provides flow and leveling to high-solids solvent based systems.

Teraflow® 5370 improves mar and slip resistance by reacting its hydroxyl group with a variety of coatings systems, such as two-component urethanes, polyester-melamine, epoxies, alkyd/melamine, self-crosslinking acrylics, etc.

Tallicin® 4100 is recommended for solvent-based systems that are susceptible to foaming from high-shear conditions during processing or application. Examples of use include flow-coating applications, airless spray and in-can filling operations.

Tallicin® R-44 can perform three functions in solvent-based systems: (1) corrects poor sag resistance in finished batches of paint without affecting viscosity; (2) controls pigment settling, particularly in stains and other low solids systems; and (3) aids in pigment wetting and in the control of flocculation.

Terasperse® 2250 - An aid in pigment wetting and dispersion that reduces the formation of craters, fisheyes, pinholes and orange peel in water-based coatings and inks and promote flow and leveling. Because of its versatility, Terasperse® 2250 can be used in place of some surfactants and wetting agents in the formulation, particularly those that may be water-sensitive, and in applications where substrate wetting and adhesion is important.

At 100% active with a well-balanced surface-active capability, Teraflow® 1000 provides smoother films, allowing the application of thinner coatings, and contributes to substrate wetting, improvement of gloss, and recoat adhesion. Its novel pigment-affinic functionality, allows the formulator to optimize the dispersion of almost all pigments and extenders. It is soluble in ketones such as MEK and MIBK.

Teraflow® 5304 provides slip to coatings and protects the film against scratches and abrasion. It also improves flow and leveling, as well as gloss. Tallicin® 5304 is designed to reduce orange peel, cratering and fish eyes.

Teraflow® 5341 improves wetting of substrates for solvent-based and water-reducible coatings systems. The product provides resistance to orange peel and cratering; it also promotes scratch and mar resistance.

Terasperse® 2644 provides excellent gloss characteristics in both acrylic and vinyl-acrylic gloss and semi-gloss formulations. Terasperse® 2644 can be post added to boost color acceptance and development in difficult systems and those based on pigment slurries

Tallicin® 3100 acts as an anti-gelling additive for solvent-based vinyl and vinyl-acrylic paints. It can also be used to restore gelled vinyl paints by breaking the gel and stabilizing the paint against further gellation. Typical use levels for stability are 0.3%-0.7% of total weight while 0.5%-1.2% may be required to break existing gel.

Teraflow® 5301 imparts mar resistance and slip to coatings surfaces. It is used to protect coatings films from scratches and abrasion, while reducing orange peel and cratering.

Terasperse® 2208 - A well-balanced dispersant for water-based systems, especially suited for such pigments as phthalo blue, phthalo green, quinacridone pigments, iron oxides and carbon black. At 30% active, Terasperse® 2208 promotes excellent color and gloss stability, as well as improved color acceptance in a wide variety of vehicle systems. Glycol and APE-Free.

Teraflow® 5000 contributes to a smooth film in water-based latex systems, urethanes, water-reducible and water-dispersible alkyd and polyester formulations for both air-dry and baking applications. At 40% active, the product offers a well-balanced surface-active functionality that provides an excellent combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic attributes, allowing the formulator to optimize the dispersion of almost all pigments and extenders.

Tallicin® 1555 is a block co-polymer designed as a grinding vehicle for high-quality pigment dispersions having broad compatibility with binders commonly used in coatings and inks. At 55% active in PM Acetate, Tallicin® 1555 produces exceptional color development when used in conjunction with Tallicin® 3405 and Tallicin® K-2.

Tallicin® 1505 is used as a post-add to provide good flow, leveling and gloss characteristics, Tallicin® 1505 also is effective at wetting and dispersing pigments. Tallicin® 1505 promotes film integrity, markedly improves enamel holdout, helps eliminate brush marks and promotes good gloss.

Tallicin® 2000 - 99% active non-ionic surfactant recommended to improve color acceptance and pigment dispersion for a wide variety of water-based coatings systems. Tallicin® 2000 is particularly effective in tint bases to improve color acceptance with universal colorant systems. The product contributes efficient pigment dispersion without foaming problems and can be used for both water-reducible and latex systems. Glycol and APE-free.

Tallicin® K-2 - An Excellent dispersant for both organic and inorganic pigments in non-polar solvent-based systems. Tallicin® K-2 enhances the acceptance of tint colors into a white base. Tallicin® K-2 is compatible with all oil length alkyds, acrylics, polyesters and urethanes. The FDA has sanctioned K-2 under paragraphs 175.300, Resinous and Polymer Coatings and 175.105, Adhesives. At 97% active, Dispersant K-2 contributes to improved pigment loading, faster grinding time and maximum color development. Used in combination with Tallicin 1550 and Tallicin 1555.

Tallicin® 253 is 100% solids and is an effective, hydrophobic wetting agent used as a grinding aid in the preparation of high oil-absorbing pigments such as carbon black and phthalo blue. Recommended for use in the range of 1-3%, Tallicin® 253 often replaces high-cost dispersants used at levels of 5-15% based on weight of pigment.

Tallicin® 1314 is recommended as a drop-in replacement for standard dispersants at 70% solids. Tallicin® 1314 is designed for use in a wide variety of alkyd, oleoresinous and other systems to improve the dispersing, wetting and deflocculation properties of the vehicle.

Teraflow® 5306 offers excellent flow and leveling characteristics, as well as surface slip, in solvent-based coatings and amine-neutralized water-reducible coatings such as alkyd/melamine, hydroxyl/acrylics, self-crosslinking acrylics, polyester/melamine and nitrocellulose/polyurethane systems.

Tallicin® 4000 provides the combination of anti-crater properties with bubble release and flow. Finishes that require high D.O.I. and a defect-free finish, such as automotive coatings, benefit from Tallicin® 4000.

Tallicin® 3000 is designed to extend the pot life of an aliphatic two-component polyurethane system where the isocyanate is the trimer type. Tallicin® 3000 is added to the polyol component and retards the reaction between the hydroxyl groups and the isocyanate groups. Tallicin® 3000 is fugitive from the film and may extend dry time in polyester systems.

Tallicin® 1600 is a non-silicone liquid additive to control flooding and floating in solvent based systems. The product also contributes to flow and leveling, and also acts as means of controlling surface defects.

Tallicin® 120 is used as a specialty dispersant for precious metals in thick-film deposition on ceramics used in electronics applications. According to test results, Tallicin® 120 contributes to the conductivity of metal pigments in these applications. Also, Tallicin® 120 is recommended for use in dispersions containing glass frit.

Tallicin® R-46 is an anionic acrylic copolymer that develops thickening and anti-settling properties in neutral or alkaline medium. Tallicin® R-46 provides effective anti-settling of pigments and helps minimize sagging without affecting brushability.

Teraflow® 5300 is recommended for use in baking enamels, furniture coatings and catalyzed coatings systems, Tallicin® 5300 imparts slip and mar resistance, promotes gloss and surface flow, and reduces cratering and orange peel.

Tallicin® KO acts as an effective wetting agent for hydrophobic pigments for incorporation into water-based systems, both water-reducible and latex. In addition, Tallicin® KO can be used to emulsify linseed oil in water.

Teraflow® 5330 is designed for nitrocellulose and acid-cured systems, Tallicin® 5330 improves flow, leveling and slip properties. It also improves scratch and mar resistance.

Tallicin® 4500 acts as an optical clarifier and whitener in solvent-based polyesters, polyurethanes, acrylics, epoxies and UV-cured coatings systems. Clear coatings containing Tallicin® 4500 offer exceptional clarity over natural surfaces such as wood, concrete, and sandstone, as well as white or light-colored surfaces.

Powerful wetting agent, good synergy with Tallicin® 1555 polymeric dispersant. Salt of unsaturated polyamine amide and low MW acid functional polymer, 100% active. Mainly used when polar solvent systems are used. Compatible with alkyds and thermoplastic acrylics. Excellent wetting properties for high oil-absorbing pigments. Compatible in plasticizer-based systems.

Tallicin® 4550 is designed as an optical clarifier and brightener for water-based polyesters, polyurethanes, acrylics and epoxies. Clear coatings containing Tallicin® 4550 offer exceptional clarity over natural surfaces such as wood, concrete, sandstone as well as white or light-colored surfaces.

Teraflow® 1500 imparts excellent flow and leveling to solvent based coatings. Tallicin® 1500 suppresses the tendency of baking finishes toward bubbling, cratering and pinholing. It also is used as a brushing aid to improve wet edge, flow and surface wetting often giving a spray-applied look to a brush or roller-applied coating.
