PEARLITOL® Flash Co-processed mannitol starch provides excipient functional properties of filler/binder as well as some disintegrant benefit to your orally dispersable tablets. PEARLITOL® Flash offers excellent chemical inertness, consistent rapid disintegration whatever the compression force making tablet formulation surprisingly simple. NEOSORB® are sugar-free, low caloric bulk sweeteners providing a variety of functional properties in confectionery and seafood products, offering a wide range of textures for tooth-friendly chewing-gums contributing to oral health. Dental plaque, a sticky bacterial film that develops on dental enamel, reoccurs after every meal. Those microorganisms feed on sugar fermentation, produced by destructive acids attacking the teeth's enamel. NEOSORB® PF is a pyrogen-free sorbitol used for parenteral preparations. In API applications it is used as a carbohydrate source and osmotic diuretic agent in large volume parenteral injectables.  In excipient applications it is used for Rx injectables as an isotonic agent. Sorbitol is also used as an irrigating fluid for surgical procedures, to prevent intra- and extra-cellular dehydration.

GLYCOLYS® Sodium starch glycolate provides pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers with a range of super-disintegrants for different formulation needs. Our GLYCOLYS® product provides this benefit for swallowable tablets, orally dispersible tablets and hard capsules. Roquette has been producing sodium starch glycolate for more than 20 years. We have developed different grades of GLYCOLYS® to meet specific needs, such as withstanding high shear granulation, acidic conditions or with a low organic solvent content.

VITEN® Vital wheat gluten, the natural protein extracted from wheat, is a water-insoluble complex protein characterized by visco-elasticity properties when hydrated. Wheat gluten is a good source of vegetable protein and is particularly regarded for the following: Excellent digestibility especially for young animals, High water absorption capacity, Exceptional binding and textural properties These characteristics make it particularly suitable for pet food. Stable upon sterilization, it helps to improve the physical presentation of feed. It is also an excellent binder for fish feed helping to ensure stability in water. Lastly, wheat gluten is a useful alternative protein source which is appreciated in milk substitutes and piglet feed for its excellent digestibility color and palatability.

TABULOSE® SC is a co-processed Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) and Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium (CMC) used as a stabilizer, suspending agent and thickener. It's a water dispersible ingredient which is stable over wide temperature and pH ranges.
